Urea may rise in price
Urea growth may continue under the influence of a shortage of raw materials in Egypt, low interest in exports from China, and increased demand in India.
Active growth of urea prices has been noted since mid-May, but the market is mostly cold. The exception is India, which has warned about a tender for supplies until August 27. As part of the tender, a not too large amount of fertilizer can be contracted, as the country still has its own reserves.
The energy crisis continues in Egypt, although there have already been reports of the restoration of gas flows. However, the recovery of production is possible only during July. In Europe, warehouse stocks remain stable.
Low demand and corresponding prices are noted in Latin America. Marked sales at a price of about $360 per ton.
